Duplicator
- Login to current WP
- Install Duplicator
- Leave all default settings, hit next, and build
RunCloud
- Select the server that makes the most sense geolocation (i.e. if it’s on east coast, select the east coast server).
- Create new app
- WordPress
- Basic default WordPress info
Import Duplicator
- Login to new WordPress
- Add Duplicator, will need license
- Import, select file
- Remove WP Core and Content under set up
Test & Deploy
- We can test by changing localhost file on local machine
- If all looks good, we will change DNS and point A records to the server
- Run tests again, make sure webforms are functioning correctly
- Be sure to set up SMTP plugin or email/webforms will not work
